Rancilio Rocky Doserless Grinder

The Rancilio Rocky has been branded as the all-around champ of home espresso grinders for years but that did not stop Rocky from making improvements.
The Rancilio Rocky Doserless Grinder is updated with a removable plastic tray at the bottom to collect stray coffee grounds and a new smoked blue bean hopper (capacity 10 oz) to protect coffee beans from UV rays.
Doserless model grinds the coffee beans and directs the grounds through a chute into your espresso machine portafilter. The holding fork for the portafilter handle provides a very stable platform to grind into. You will find the main power switch on the right of the machine and another push and hold switch on the front of the grinder to start and stop the grinding.
The Rancilio Rockys powerful motor drives commercial-grade grinding burrs and helps you create perfect crema-topped espresso. With its 55 different grind settings, you can easily grind coffee on any setting from French press to Turkish.

Doserless Grinder
The Rancilio Rocky Doserless grinder allows you to easily grind directly into a portafilter. The grinder uses a ‘chute’ instead of a doser; thereby alleviating the cleaning chores associated with a doser. Place your portafilter under the chute and grind right into the portafilter. A retaining fork holds your portafilter handle as you grind directly into it.
Commercial Quality Grinding Burrs
Consistent grind size is of great importance to achieve better taste and aroma. The Rancilio Rocky features long lasting, commercial-grade hardened steel 50 mm flat burrs to produce uniform grind size. A consistent and fine grind is even more important if you are grinding coffee for an espresso machine.
Multiple Grind Settings
The Rancilio Rocky Coffee Grinder has 55 Grind settings, ranging from coarse French press to ultra-fine Turkish. To change settings, just push down on a release lever and turn the bean hopper.
Heavy Duty Motor
Rocky’s powerful 166-watt direct drive motor has 1,725 RPM reduction. This ensures that the ground coffee does not burn and also makes it a very quiet and robust grinder. The motor is outfitted with a high temperature overload sensor switch to prevent possible damage if a stone or any other similar particle gets caught in the burrs accidently.
Coffee Bean Hopper
The Rancilio Rocky features a 10-oz capacity bean hopper made of molded, smoked blue plastic. It protects the whole coffee beans from UV rays and maintains their freshness.
