The KBGT has a thermal container (42 oz. or 10 four oz. cups) to keep coffee at the optimal temperature after brewing, has a heavy duty construction, and is handmade in Holland. It will brew your coffee the way it should be brewed, producing a pure, clean and flavorful cup of coffee.

What's New
The KBGT is accessorized with an auto stop filter basket, thus you can remove the carafe from the machine while the coffee is brewing. It also has pre-infusion for better extraction and richer flavor.

Brewing Temperature
It brews at the temperature between 198-205 degrees F and holding temperature between 176-185 degrees F. Drip coffee tastes great when brewed at the correct temperature. Its 9-hole spray head wets the grounds evenly for a perfect extraction every time. Brew cycle completes in 5 to 6 minutes. Its filter holder has hand operated drip stop.

Drip Through Lid
This new version of the Technivorm features the drip through lid in addition to the standard carafe lid. The drip through lid will keep your coffee hot longer as there is less exposure to air.

Heavy Duty Boiler 
The Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT-741 features Copper boiling element with double safety guard. The heating element is turned off if there is no water in the tank or if the carafe is removed from the machine.

Filter Options
Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT-741 offers easy filter options. It can be used with a reusable Swiss Gold cone filter or can use disposable paper filters. It will increase the amount of time between descaling, and prevent the impurities in your tap water from making it into your coffee.

Controls
The Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT-741 is built solidly and has only an on/off switch and a three-position switch to control the flow of coffee into the carafe.

The Moccamaster KBGT-741 features a scale indicator and easy to ready water level container.

Capacity
The Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT-741 has capacity for 42 oz. of liquid or 10 four oz. cups of coffee (using the European coffee standards). With abundance of coffee to go around, you have the perfect addition to brunches, desserts or any gathering with family or friends.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the water tank and lid regularly and descale every 2 - 3 months. Soap out the inside of the kettle and brew basket on a regular basis. Use Cleancaf if necessary to remove coffee stains or residue. For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual.
